What is Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) ?
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a chronic gastrointestinal disorder that affects the large intestine, causing symptoms such as abdominal cramping or pain, bloating, mucus in the stool and irregular bowel movements, including diarrhea and constipation. Drinking plenty of water is essential, especially for those with IBS. Dehydration can worsen constipation and make digestion more difficult.
